LETICIA (TEESH) HARGREAVES
I’m an adventure, nature, and landscape photographer with a deep connection to wild and remote places. My work is shaped by years spent fully immersed in them. living and working at various ski resorts/mountain towns, to multiple seasons guiding whitewater rafting trips and sea kayak expeditions. exploring landscapes so wild, untamed, and skin-pinchingly beautiful that I simply cannot stop myself from capturing the moment… trying my best to share the feeling exploding within.
Between seasons, I’m drawn to the quiet intensity of remote lodge life and the human connections that form far from roads and civilization. My work has taken me to a wilderness lodge in the Northern Territories, chasing the aurora borealis, a fishing lodge on Haida Gwaii, and a heli-ski lodge in the South Chilcotin Mountains. Places where isolation sharpens presence and community feels immediate.
My photography has been widely featured in marketing and storytelling for the places I’ve worked, shaped by an insider’s understanding of life and rhythm in remote environments. Most recently, I was invited to photograph a 12-day sea kayaking expedition in Patagonia, traveling by mother ship and documenting the journey from the water. This project will be shared here soon.
Photography, for me, is about capturing the feeling of being isolated yet deeply connected… to places, to people, and to the magical moment unfolding. While my focus remains adventure tourism and the natural world, I’m increasingly exploring portrait-focused work and remain open to all genres as I continue to grow my craft.
